THE ORIGINAL Dr. Hagiwara's FORMULA. Dr. Hagiwara's Green Magma is a nutritious, mildly alkaline powder made from organic young barley grass juice. Young barley grass contains perhaps the most balanced nutrient profile of all green plants, with an abundance of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, amino acids, proteins, active enzymes, and chlorophyll. After taking Green Magma daily for as little as 1 week, many people have reported feeling a dramatic increase in energy, better looking hair, skin, and nails, and increased regularity, all signs of good nutrition. The barley grass in Green Magma is grown without pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Green Magma is also rich in chlorophyll, which has been shown to have detoxifying, anti-inflammatory, deodorizing, and antibacterial benefits. The barley grass juice powder is also protected from oxidation by the addition of maltodextrin, a complex carbohydrate that not only stabilizes Green Magma, but also adds nutritive value and, unlike simple sugar, does not affect blood-sugar levels.
