Did you know that exercising at work improves your time management skills, mental ability and ability to meet and complete work deadlines? Today work plays a major part in our lives – we are spending more and more time at our workplace than in our own homes. Our days tend to be fully utilised with jobs to do, running around after our children, work deadlines, house work, overtime, etc. It is no wonder that many of us find it difficult to schedule exercise into a normal day. Due to our ever increasing hectic lifestyles we are finding it more and more difficult to squeeze in any form of exercise. This is where being at work may actually be quite positive. Not many of us would ever think to exercise while we are at work or even at our desks. You still may think that you don’t have time to exercise at work, however, with little imagination and our At Work training program, it is very simple and possible. Studies show that workers who exercised for 30-60 minutes per day whilst at work said that their time management skills, mental ability and ability to meet and complete work deadlines improved on the days that they exercised.[1] The mode and duration of exercise did not make a great deal of difference – an effect was present regardless.[1] Other common benefits of exercising at work are;

AT HOME understands the limitation of time and space for exercising at work. We have identified these issues and specifically designed a training program that can be performed easily at a break or various times throughout the day when you may have a spare couple of minutes. No expensive equipment is required just you and your motivation to be healthy. Our workout is simple and effective, for both workplace and general health and wellbeing. At Home also provides ONLINE EXERCISE PROGRAMS FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY our programs are inexpensive, quick and easy to download without membership fees or lengthy questionnaires. They include your very own personal trainer B Your At Home PT who will give you tips on posture and breathing in every exercise. All programs can be performed with or without exercise equipment as our programs include equipment substitute ideas e.g. if you don’t have dumbbells you can substitute with a heavy object found in your home i.e. books or plastic bottles filled with water. Each program package includes program card with exercise details, written and photo exercise instructions including B Your At Home PT, body measurement instructions with recording sheets for monitoring results and a healthy eating plan for the entire family.
At Home’s exercise programs are specifically designed to target the three major components of fitness (strength, stamina and suppleness); each program includes a warm up, full body strength workout, cool down and stretches to give you the best and most time efficient training session possible. In addition to the major components our exercise programs always follow the general training principles of F.I.T.T.
